We all know that sensation, Christmas is creeping up on you and you haven’t got anything ready yet! Sometimes you just need a kick start to get in the Christmas spirit, and that was definitely us this year. Seeing the Christmas Lights at TMT Farms in Statesboro really got our family into the spirit of Christmas; and made for a really fun night out.

TMT Farms, on Old River Road North in Statesboro, Georgia, runs a huge drive-thru Christmas lights display each year. What started out as a bit of fun for the Thompson Family, has turned into a huge yearly event attracting over 40,000 cars each season.
Cost & Opening Times
This event is run for charity, so instead of a ticket price, people are asked to bring non-perishable food, dog food, kids toys and donations instead. This helps local food banks and charities care for those who struggle at Christmas.
The display runs from Thanksgiving, November 28, 2024 through to Saturday, December 28, 2024

The Christmas Lights Drive-Thru at TMT
You can’t drive up to this place without smiling. The sheer scale of it and the dedication of the people that pull it all off is incredible. What puts you in the holiday spirit more than thousands and thousands of Christmas lights?
When you first drive in, there is a sign instructing you to tune your radio to FM 88.1. I assumed that it was a station playing Christmas music to further get you in the Christmas spirit. But much to my surprise, it is Christmas music in rhythm to the flashing lights. How cool is that?

I have no idea how much time TMT Farms put in to creating this magical display, but I am so thankful for their efforts. A big shout-out to the kind people at TMT Farms for taking the time to serve the community in such a way. If you are anywhere near Statesboro, Georgia, during the festive season, you must visit. It is magical!
