Sunset Catamaran Cruise Antigua
The sunset catamaran cruise is our favorite excursion when we visit any of the Caribbean islands and especially the Sandals resorts. The tour begins with sightseeing along the coast. There is an open bar included with appetizers as well. History, fun facts and beautiful scenery is provided by the knowledgeable captain as you leisurely make your way along the coast. There are other cruises available during different times of the day. Some cruises even include snorkeling. However, the sunset views from the water make this cruise our favorite.
After sailing for approximately 2 hours the catamaran turns around and heads back towards the resort. This is when the fun really begins. The lower the sun sinks down the more the music and the fun turns up. The crew leads everyone is dancing, singing and lots of entertainment. They are also available to take photos for you of the sunset. This trip is great for couples, best friends and groups. Our favorite excursion by far.
Antigua Rainforest Zipline & Eco-Kayak Experience
This excursion is perfect for the adventure lovers! Soar through the rainforest at 300ft high on 8 different ziplines. The views are absolutely breathtaking. After retuning to sea level the speedboat takes you through the beautiful waters of Antigua to the North Sound Marine Park for an amazing kayak adventure. The kayaking adventure takes you through some of the most beautiful mangroves where your guide will show you some of the unique marine life in the area.
The excursion also includes swimming and snorkeling on the Great Bird Island. Here you will have time to unwind and relax after the adventure and adrenaline rush of the morning. Before ending your day you will enjoy an authentic Antiguan lunch. This is a great excursion but definitely not recommended for anyone afraid of heights or anyone not looking for a physical challenge.
Horseback Beach Ride Antigua
For animal lovers this is another unique way to explore the island of Antigua. Whether you are an experienced rider or have never ridden a horse, the expert guides will make the adventure fun and safe. You will see historic forts and 18th century cannons and the amazing views of the great St John’s Harbour. Your horse will then take you to Runaway Beach where you can ride in the warm waters of the Caribbean Sea. This is a great way to explore the history and culture of Antigua.
